(as of September 7, 2006):
It's been a long while since I last updated the site. Things are still a wreck, but it's managable. According to comicgenesis, I'm technically not allowed to have modified sprites from FF6 anymore. Current plans involve revamping the comics using sprites I make myself. Expect this site to go down entirely or new comics soon. (read: who knows when)

Life is spiraling out of control. I need to take a break from a ton of stuff to get things straightened out. I don't want to bomb college. I'll be back just not sure how soon. *dies*

-October 18, 2005-
I like this comic. There's no joke, but it does look cool. I just wish it was in flash with sound effects.

-October, 2005-
Blah. I ran out of motivation to work on the comic again. It's not dead as you can see, but other things might be getting in the way still. I'm also looking for someone who knows HTML who wouldn't mind giving the site a facelift.

-August 16, 2005
Ok, I owe an explaination. Between May and now things have been very busy. May ended with me being just lazy and not making the comic. June I got my job finally and overbooking my time. The comic was forgotten in light of a paycheck. July my dad died from cancer. If you can't figure out why I was too occupied to even touch the comic, you need to fix a couple of screws in your head...cause they're either loose or missing. From July 10 to now, I've been overbooked yet again with work and meeting up with my friends to the point where not being able to sit down and do what I feel like doing was causing more stress.

So here I am now with a new comic after a couple of months. Aki is finally filling the audience in on how they got from the inferno to the woods. The blonde guy Aki's talking about is the same from earlier in the series. If you haven't caught on to who the cameo is yet then congradulations, you're not one of the obcessive FF7 fanboys/girls. Don't get me wrong. FF7 was good. But after playing FF6 first, I saw enough reused themes.

-May 17, 2005-
Well another long break. Blah. Akisu's reaction means only one thing: he knows the connection between Reiji and this Hiro with the same name. More on this later.

-April 29, 2005-
And so, the mystery of how they got there continues! Don't worry that'll be explained.

-April 21, 2005-
Ok back on track...for now. I recently noticed that I'm generating a popup ad on the site, and that irritates me. Firefox blocks one and then another slips through the filter. Anyway, I've got 45 minutes or so until FFXI finishes updating. I gotta say that life as a melee class in that game is getting to be a tiring experience. By tiring I mean the time waiting for a party is getting longer and longer. I'm debating on taking White Mage back up again, but with Dark Knight and its absorb spells on the horizon, I'll stick it out a little while longer. Also on the horizon, new character(s) and possibly bios to go with 'em. Speaking of bios, why not go check out the updated bios section?

-April 10, 2005-
Serious plottage ahead. There's more to Reiji than meets the eye, and the next few comics will try and explain that. The Forums are down now and have been replaced with the new chat log at the bottom. Help yourself to using it.

-April 1, 2005-
Oh jeez can I ever lose track of time. Next week (or possibly later this coming week) I plan to have the return of Akisu and Reiji. Expect more new characters and plottage (is that even a word?)

-March 21, 2005-
What can I say, I love those 2 samurai. This pretty much concludes the escape. They climb down the wall and the 2 samurai just don't care. Next comic will be a follow up and then its back to Reiji and Aki.

-March 16, 2005-
Finally! I've found a free day! 2/3 finals taken, with the last one tomorow. Then, SPRING BREAK! Today's comic makes me smile for 2 reasons. 1: it shows Amethist to be the offensive powerhouse that she is. 2: Ein is a literal human cannonball. One more animation to go, and the escape flashback arc is over!

-March 14, 2005-
Ugh...It's been no updates for a month. Sorry. As far as news goes, I haven't had much time to myself recently. My folks gave me a time limit to get a job so I've been a little bit busy with that. It doesn't help much having college taking up a lot of time also. And now it's finals week. ARGH! The next problem is figuring out how to finish the escape. I had something planned and 3 frames in, I realized it wouldn't work (this was 3 weeks ago). Look for an update Saturday at the latest. -sigh- *resumes banging head on desk*

-February 14, 2005-
Happy Valentines day to everyone! Today's comic kicks off the multi-part animated escape from the fortress. As I'm sure you've noticed theres quite a bit going on all in a VERY short period of time, so take your time watching it over and over to catch it all. Personally I got this started Saturday but couldn't get back to finishing it until last night. Needless to say but it feels weird spending hours working on an animation like today's only to watch the final product last seconds. Today's and the rest of the animated escap will be put together in one long (or short however you look at it) clip after I finish. That way the dial up readers aren't left sitting there waiting on the load. This goes without saying that this/these will be the first flash animated remake strip I make. Next comic will HOPEFULLY be Thursday, but with college getting busy I won't guarentee anything.

-January 31, 2005-
Sorry for the delay. If you couldn't already tell, I'm a big Metal Gear Solid fan. In fact I just got MGS3 2 weeks ago, and its pretty darn good! Expect some of these MGS parodies to get really good when I get working with flash soon. Back to today's comic. If you've played enough Metal Gear, you've had this happen to you at least once. You get busy paying attention to one thing, and a guard finds you when you're occupied. In this case, its picking a difficult lock.

-January 20, 2005-
Ame and Ein are going to be escaping within the next 2-3 comics. I promise. Until then, check out the story page I added. *points to the navigation bar*

-January 7, 2005-
Happy New Year! I think its time I start wrapping this conversation up. There's other characters to introduce and others that need rescuing. Keep your eyes on the news for updates on the back story comics and flash comics. Yes, you read correctly: Back Story comics. I realized that I didn't set up the setting like I should have.

So how does the new layout look? I like it a bit as the main page and the forums match up more than before. Those flash comics I promised are still on the way so don't worry. Hopefully I can get the Archive situated to show the comic titles instead of the dates soon. The auto-tags are really touchy so it might be a while.
